Stop letting your customers know that you don't have a tracking number for a shipment that you claim has already been shipped.
It's a bit disrespectful to those of us who are quite knowledgeable about standard online transactions and the business of logistics (your customers) to not update the "Order Status" page that is initially provided when you charge our credit cards with clear, unambiguous data. I have called your support number twice asking for a tracking number and was lied to concerning communication of shipment status on both accounts, FedEx issues a tracking number as soon as they receive notification that a shipment is ready for pick-up, even before they do a pick-up. I suggest when someone ask you guys twice not to send USPS and you tell him ok it will be FedEx, send the item FedEx

We have fired some people and replaced them with smarter and more helpful staff. We will continue to do this if people are not taking care of you (when it will help).
There are software changes that can be made to account for human error (dumbness in this case) – we are working on them and will be one of the first online hydroponic supply stores to have them so this type of thing CAN’T happen (Walmart style).
Please post a reply with your order number so we can do something for you to make up for this.

Sorry! The companies that ship same day and next day like Amazon, Walmart, etc — that is quite a feat. That is the goal though because it is great customer service and we want to do that for you. At the time of writing this we are only 12 people. We did get more sales for Black Friday then we expected and we have brought on two new packers, too late though for you. We will be more prepared next year. Also if you call before placing an order, WE CAN DO SAME DAY SHIPMENTS, you just have to clear it with somebody here on the phone and they will say switch from an Ecoplus pump to and Active Aqua pump so everything can go out right away.

forget amazon you guys have the largest selection on top of the line equipment and your prices are are awesome,I just can't believe luxor made the number1 reflector for a vert. burner and the hortilux blue bulb, I had no clue they were recommended for magnetic ballasts they work fine with my digitals and don't say anything on the box about that and it would be nice if they made a 600w blue bulb

Better service.
I ordered 4 grand worth of equipment, only to deal with FIRST shipping a bulb back, ( MH Blueday 230$ ),due to it being VERY improperly packaged, they then misplaced it and took a extra few days to fix the issue they created.
The hanging brackit I ordered was absent from the order, no biggie, 10 bucks and its something I can get locally, moving on,
Setting up the tent, 1 of the bars is missing from the order, I called to resolve and it ends up costing me 8.90$ to "replace" the rod. AKA pay for their mistake.

Don't charge a customer for an item you don't have in stock until you get it in stock and its ready to ship
If you have an item and its not in stock. Notify the customer that its on back order, when you plan on getting the item in stock and the expected ship date. Then notify them that thier card won't be charged until the item is ready to ship. This avoids someone getting charged interest on a large purchase that they have to wait 3 weeks before it will ship.

Shareable shopping cart
Hey Guys,
I just made a cart that I'm going to purchase later (Thursday) and I was just going to have someone purchase the cart for me. A save cart option would be quite nifty to customers like me who have a patient purchasing to recommend them the proper equipment.
Any plans for this is or is it out of the question?

Just give the customer an idea of when it may be shipped or some other confirmation besides a number.
When looking up the order - even if pending - give customer concrete comment - "Your order is pending the processing of our invoice system for payment" or " Your order has been received and your credit card company is in the processing of releasing the monies" or some such action being taken. Pending does not leave a warm feeling. thanks.

STOP CHARGING CARDS BEFORE ISSUING TRACKING
You guys seem to like taking the money out of my account waaaaay before you fill my order.
FedEx/UPS issues a tracking number as soon as they receive notification that a shipment is ready for pick-up, even before they do a pick-up. It's part of their system and it's how they do business. Multiple people have been told by your employees, "they are slow" ---WOW, take responsibility for your mistakes and do your job.

Ostberg fan testing
i noticed you didn't include your osterberg fans in your testing site why is that? and they fact that you are not testing them under static
the osterberg fans are the best fine on the face of the earth they do all there testing under static pressure because a fan is under constant static pressure as soon as you hook up ducting or a filter.the cfm's on a Osterberg fan are all tested with 12 feet of ducting and the actually preform better under pressure than the do with out any pressure. why should we care about how many cfm… more

Not sure if we will do a fan test. Because people can just buy a larger size fan it does not seem to matter how much CFM any one fan moves. And Vortex with a 10 year warranty is pretty amazing if people are going for quality – the Ostberg warranty is half that. We do sell the Ostberg line – directly or branded as the BaddAss line.
